13 startups that presented themselves in front of the audience composed of the city institutions and the mentors of Murate Idea Park: this was the Startup Day 2020 of MIP, the party of the startups of our community who presented themselves yesterday, Thursday 8 October, to the city.
The "booking" of health care, able to find every medical service with a click, the network that accompanies local markets in the digital world, the software that "measures" the affection of a customer for a brand or the artificial intelligence app which helps to take care of the vineyards. The most original and innovative projects of the future were presented on the Startup Day, in the Sala d'Arme in Palazzo Vecchio, during the annual event organized by the Murate Idea Park to bring together the startups and mentors of the community, the professionals who accompany the teams during the selection and structuring phase of the business idea. On stage, the 13 startups that are following the incubation path at MIP took part. They were introduced by the president of Murate Idea Park and president of the School of Business Sciences and Industrial Technologies "Piero Baldesi", Claudio Terrazzi, the councilor of the Municipality of Florence for technological innovation, Cecilia Del Re, the councilor for activities productive, Federico Gianassi, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, Leonardo Bassilichi, and the president of Innovative and Technological Services of Confindustria Firenze, Gianluca Augusti.
During the event, the name of the winning project of the 10 thousand euro check was also revealed that Maria Letizia Mealli, a 73-year-old Florentine lady, decided to donate to help "a young company, which has an innovative project in its drawer and with a high social value ". Benefitting from the donation is Coyzy, an app and community - which participated in the previous MIP call - which aims to prevent dangerous situations on the street, give immediate support in an emergency, offer specialized assistance (psychological, legal, health) for victims of street violence.
